Let me start this post by saying I’m not a happy camper with Monster right now. I have been a long time fan of the brand and especially of the Pink Lemonade Rehab since I discovered them a couple years ago. I did a review on those earlier this year actually. Recently Monster discontinued my favorite pink monsters and replace it with this. I have literally stocked up on the ones I can find and I’m on the lookout for more. I came across this one in the grocery store last week and picked it up to try it to see if it was any good since it’s the replacement to my beloved.
This one is a Tea and Dragon Fruit. So they did stick with the rehab theme of making it a Tea combination.
They went with a white can much like their zero ones which I guess is why I didn’t realize it was new when I 1st saw them a while back. All the other Rehab cans are black so this one stands out. They used a pink design on it so that they still had a pink one in the mix.
On every can they include a story description, If you aren’t able to see that what it says it’s…
Dating to the ancient Song Dynasty white tea was reserved for royalty and only served by virgins as a symbol of honor and respect.
Enter the dragon… we combined the finest white tea, black tea, and dragon fruit and brewed up a new Monster Rehab fit for an emperor of express but available to all, virgins not required.
Monster Rehab White Dragon Tea is a triple threat that rehabilitates with a killer mix of white tea, black tea, electrolytes, and our bad-ass Monster Energy blend
They also included what I think is Chinese symbols on the can. I’m not sure what it says. I’m assuming something about Dragons.
This one taste likes a weird sweet but sour fruit. Which is legit since its a combination of dragon fruit, white tea, and black tea. It also has what seems like a hint of lemon citrus kind of taste to it as well. Honestly, it’s strange and I don’t care for. I don’t know if maybe it’s my mind just being mad that it replaced my go to one or what. It’s not so bad that I won’t drink it’s just not my cup of tea. I guess I will have to try more monsters and see which one I will have to start drinking after I run out of the stash of Pink Lemonade ones I have.
You can find this one at major grocery stores or gas station. If y’all know of a monster I should try please let me know.
