June Ipsy Glam Bag Plus

Let’s finish out this month with my subscription boxes.

Starting with the first one I got, my Glam Bag Plus.

The box was a mess and squished on one side. Thankfully the actual products weren’t that damaged. I do dig the saying inside it. Always be pretty like you and no one else.

The theme of the month is Block Party. It’s perfect for June since it’s summer. I kinda wish my block would have a party but my neighbors aren’t that much fun. Seriously they would just call the cops.

To do list of what do to do with your box when you get it.

111Skin’s Vitamin C Brightening Booster. This is a brand I haven’t heard of but I have recently been using a serum at night. This one is super light. I use a few drops and warm them up between my hand then apply to my face. I have used it alone and mixed with a moisturizer. It works perfectly both ways and is easy to apply. It soaks in pretty quickly and leaves my face soft with a slight glow. I dig it and will use it to death.

This bottle is $180 so I’m not doing to purchase it again since there are way cheaper Vitamin C out there. I am honestly now sure how Ipsy was able to put these in this box. Only cause I have never seen an item of this price in any of their bags.

APTO Skincare Healing Turmeric Mask. I haven’t heard of this brand either or used Turmeric at all. So I was excited since I do appreciate a good face mask. The box is fun with the random color shapes at the top.

This is a thick mustard yellow mask that goes on fairly easy. I use a blob of it and it’s always too much. I have applied this hopped in the shower and wait 10 mins then washed it off. It didn’t really work too well. So I tried it again outside of the shower and left it for 10 mins it does have a slight minty tingle to it. After 10 mins the mask is a little dried but no so bad that makes your face feel like it’s stone. I then took a wet washcloth a wiped it all off. I actually had to wipe it off a couple times. It’s that thick so make sure you get it all off. It does leave your skin soft and refreshed.  I rather like it so I will use it till I’m done with it but I don’t think I will buy it again.

The brand site has it listed at $16 but it’s for a  smaller size so the price should be legit.

Trestique’s Matte Color + Shiny Balm Lip Crayon in  Belize Bordeaux & Grenache Balm. I really dig this brand. I get one every once in a while and they are always amazing.

This one was an extra surprise because it’s a lip crayon at the top and a lip balm at the bottom.  The top of it has a magnetic lid that just snaps back on. Honestly, I wish all lipstick had that so I don’t loose caps. The lip crayon is super creamy so it goes on with ease as all of their products are. The lip balm is lovely and makes my lips soft.

The shiny part on the top is the balm which you can’t see and the bottom is the lip crayon that is this pinkish dark red. I really love this one and would totally buy one again.

These are $25 and comes in 6 different shades.

Suva Beauty’s Hydra Liner in Grease & Six Twenty Brush Set. I have never used this type of liner. Honestly, I have avoided it cause I didn’t think I would be able to do it. My hand isn’t always so steady so I was afraid I would have it all over the place.  So I was pretty excited when I got it so that I could see what exactly I could do with it.

This one came with the Hydra Liner in the shade Grease which is basically super black.

The liner comes in clear case and you have to add water to it to make it work which I really dig cause the one issue I have with some liquid liners is that it dries out.  This one will dry but you can reactive it and I love it.  You also get this delicate little brush to apply the line with perfection.

It goes on pretty smooth better when it’s wetter so that you get a nice crisp line. I am rather impressed with this and may have to invest in more hydra liner. It’s actually pretty easy to work and manipulate.

These go for $14 and comes in  24 fun colors.

Buy Grease Hydra Liner.

Tetris x ipsy’s Game on Eyeshadow palette. This is a recent collaboration that Ipsy did with Tetris hence why it’s a block party. I dig the colorful lined Tetris block on the slipcover on it.

The palette itself is several shades of green.

The inside of the palette has an 80s motherboard feel to it with the cute little hearts. Also, it’s got the full mirror which I always appreciate.

Here is an up close of the shades you get in the palate. Next, I will break down the shades on my pale skin. Remember they may read differently on me than you.

Game Changer– super matte peachy orange

Game Day– baby pink shimmer with gold undertones

Game Night– gold shimmer with slight green tones to it.

Stack it Up– beige matte, basically my skin tone.

Block Party-rose gold shimmer

Game Over– royal blue matte with silver glitter in it.

I really like this palette and find myself reaching for it a lot. It’s simple colors so that you can create tons of looks with. I have done a couple and will post my favorite below.

The palette out of stock on the ipsy site. They have a  collection that is $39.99 so I don’t know why the palette is only $24. I have included a  line in case you want to check it and see if it’s back in stock.

Buy Ispy X Tetris Palette.

I legit sat in my living floor and created this look.  The eyeliner is on point in a big way.  The eyeshadow palette I only used all but the royal blue. Finally, I got this lip crayon on to complete the look.

I really dug this box. All the products were so amazing and actually really enjoyed them. This box is $25 a month and is totally worth it. I did cancel mine from next month just so  I can take a  step back and see if there is anything else I want to try. I may pick it back up later one.

Anyone else gets one of these? What did you think about it?
