July Target Beauty Box

I’m in a slump this week but I’m pushing through it. Herewith this month’s Target Beauty Box.

This month’s box reminds me of the ocean. The top of the box is like the tide washing up on the beach. The bottom is just that really pretty sky blue.

This month’s theme is Gym Bag Beauty since these are items that you can happily toss in your bag and go. Actually, no matter where you go whether it’s the gym, work, or whatever you are into.

Here is a  list of whats in the box and also the $3 off $15 code.

Nexxus Frizz Defy Anti-Frizz Sheets. I really dig the Nexxus brand after I got their shampoo and conditioner a  few boxes back. So I was happy I got it in the box even though honestly I had no clue this was a thing. This is actually a smart idea especially if you have frizzy hair or just get it from time to time. You can toss one of these in your purse and just swipe it in your hair and it tames it pretty well. I like it but it’s not something I really need since my hair is super straight and boring.

You can get 8 sheets of these for $11.99.

Simple Micellar Cleansing Water. This was one of the reasons I actually ordered this months box. These little pouches were pretty cute and looked like a good time. This is cleansing water which I feel like I can’t have enough of sometimes. This one is super light I only had to use a little on my cotton round to wipe all the grim of sleep off my face.  It leaves my face feeling clean but also hydrated. Some of these or tonic just leave me all dried out and do more harm than good. I dig this one and would buy it again.

A 6.7oz bottle is $4.69.

Simple Sassy Sachet Moisturizing Face Wash. The other reason I decided to grab this box.  I always appreciate a new face wash cause I like to switch it up every few days. This one is a simple gel that goes smooth and lathers up with perfection. It rinses with ease and leaves my face feeling and looking cleaning. It doesn’t dry out my face either I have had face washes do that before.  I really dig this one and would totally buy it again.

A 5oz tube of this is $5.99 and comes in scented and unscented.

Crest Kid’s Anti Cavity Protections toothpaste in Strawberry Rush. So this was the wild card in the box. I didn’t understand why a kid’s toothpaste was in there but I guess people who have kids get these. Mine is too old for this stuff so I gave it a try. It’s not overly minty like adult toothpaste which I wish more weren’t cause it’s can be a lot sometimes. Cause honestly strawberry is quite delicious and it smells great. Also doesn’t make orange juice taste funny after. I like it but of course, I need grown-up toothpaste so I’m not buying it again.

A 4.2 oz tube of this is $1.99.

Head & Shoulders Smooth & Silky Shampoo and Conditioner. I have tried this stuff before of course. I feel like at this point in your life that you have had to use this brand somehow. I used this to wash my hair a couple times. The shampoo lathers up and rinses out with ease. The conditioner was is super thin so there is no problem using it. It did leave my hair feeling a little off. This stuff isn’t bad but it’s not something I want to use every day.

They have these separate for about $6 apiece, a 2 in 1 or both for the same price and finally a twin pack for $10.49.

Acure Radically Rejuvenating Day Cream Facial Moisturizers- SPF 30.  This is a semi-thick cream that you don’t actually need a whole lot to cover your face. I used way too much because in my head this is a sunscreen. It’s a day cream but since it’s got the SPF 30 in it designed to for that use. It takes a bit to soak it but it does leave me feeling a little greasy like sunscreen would. It’s not completely awful and doesn’t smell bad. It does look make your skin soft and could work as a primer. I will use it but I won’t buy it again.

A 1.7 tube of this is $13.29.

I really like this box since it had a little bit of everything. I like that I get the previews of them before buying which is why I didn’t get one last month. If it’s not something I’m into then I don’t want to waste my money. I actually need to weed out my boxes since I have a new one that I will be reviewing tomorrow.

This one is still available for $7 and you get free shipping on these. Link below.
