Sept Ipsy Glam Bag

Hello there,

I’m starting off the last full week of this month with my subscription review. I only have  2  now which is so much easier. So let’s start with this month’s  Ipsy Glam Bag.

This month’s theme is Find your Light which honestly with makeup you have to find what works for you and the right light to showcase it. Also, the back tells you about the new thing where you get to pick 1 product a month.

Here is the list of all the things in the bag.

The bag is this pink almost potato sack type material with stars and constellations on it. Then the zipper is a  quarts stone.

Its the last thing I test and honestly I’m not in the sun enough to fully test it. This is a light formula that goes on more like a lotion than sunscreen which can be a little sticky sometimes. There is no scent to it or anything weird. I don’t know if  I would buy it again since I’m rarely in the sun and don’t need it.

A tube of this is  $42.

Buy Mineral SPF30 Sun Silk Creme.

IBY Beauty Highlighter in Private Jet. I have a  palette from this brand that I like so I was excited to try another product from them. The compact is this glittery plastic that is basically the same colors as the highlighter it’s self. The shade is this peachy rose gold. powder formula is creamy and easy to apply. You don’t have to use a lot to get the full shine. I have been using this every day since I got it and I love it. I would totally buy this again.

I was not able to find a single of this. I only found it in the Carry on Face Palette Collection which is $38.

Buy The Carry On Face Palette.

Ofra Cosmetics Ofra X Madison Miller Ollie Need in  Love Blush. I really love this brand and everything I’ve tried from them is great. I have yet to try a blush from them. This is a packed powder that is a pinkish red that if you aren’t careful you can put on super dark. I have been using just a little to add color to my cheeks. If I use too much it’s overkill where I’m so pale. I like this one and would buy it again.

This Blush is $29.

Nature’s Cartel Nail Polish in Bro’s Gold. I always appreciate a polish. I dig the rose Gold shade of this one when I pulled it out of the box. You can use one coat of this without any light spots. It does chip awfully. I have tried it as a top coat and by itself and still, it doesn’t last. While I like the shade I wouldn’t buy it again cause I need a polish that will last longer than a day.

They have  25 shades of polish that are $12 a pop.

Buy Nature’s Cartel Polish.

Smashbox Cosmetics Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation in  0.3 Netural. I really like Smashbox it’s one of the first major brands I tried. I honestly can’t recall trying a foundation from then unless it was one of those flyer samples.

This Foundation isn’t too heavy. I didn’t have to cake it on to get good coverage. As you can see in the 1st picture I have done some red for my under eyes bags then apply the foundation. It covers perfectly and doesn’t weight down my face. It didn’t rebel against my powder or other products I use as you can see in the final look. I dig it and would buy it again.

A bottle of this is $38 and comes in  40 shades. Most shades are on the lighter side.

I really enjoyed this bag. I’m excited that now you do get to pick out one product every month. Hopefully, it will coordinate with the rest of the bag.

If you want to sign up for Ipsy it’s going up to $12 a month but you can check out more info at the link below.
